Our Platform Technology

Allogeneic

We turn therapeutic vision into reality by bringing powerful treatments to the patients who need them. Our platform technology uses pluripotent stem cells to generate shielded cell therapies for cardiac patients. Our matrix aims to mimic the cardiomyocytes' natural microenvironment,  providing the cells with all the required nutrients and gases for survival when injected into a hostile hypoxic environment. 

Versatile

We can generate many distinct cell types resulting in a diverse pipeline of cell therapies for multiple indications. Building master cell banks creates endless possibilities for what diseases we can treat. We can grow these cells to high numbers and freeze them down so they’re readily available when needed and can be quickly scaled to meet industrial needs.

Accessible

Having cell therapy products available when a patient needs them, without having to harvest and engineer a patient’s cells, would eliminate some of the complexity and speed up treatment time. Our scalable manufacturing and effective cryopreservation enable such delivery of ready-made therapies for immediate, on-demand use.

Experience

We have 15+ years of experience developing allogeneic off-the-shelf therapies based on federally funded research. We completed the preclinical development of pluripotent stem cell cardiac therapy. We filed an Investigational New Drug (IND) application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), one of the last steps necessary before conducting a First In Human clinical trial.
